A Little About Me...

Lee West is an experienced leader who is adept at synthesizing complex information and formulating strategies to capitalize on business opportunities. He is highly skilled at building consensus among senior management and operational teams, promoting strategies, and developing operational plans to achieve company objectives. His broad areas of expertise include financing, pre-seed and seed capital investing, business evaluations, and real estate investments. Mr. West is an accredited investor within the definition of Rule 501(a) of Regulation D, under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
After college at Louisiana State University, Mr. West began working extensively with his family in the real estate business, carefully developing the strategies that have now proved so successful. The real estate business specialized in small warehouses and multi-family apartments. After the family members retired, he spent the next several years in various roles of increasing responsibility for several large corporations and earned several technical certifications, such as the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Teacher (MCT), as well as an Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) certificate.
Mr. West has held senior leadership positions at a variety of companies including Pitney Bowes, Concord Communications, and CA Technology, where he culminated his corporate path as a Senior Vice President of Education. Mr. West had the opportunity to travel worldwide (5 continents), teaching various enterprise level software packages and was able to experience multiple, very diverse cultures. He is uniquely adept at understanding how different cultures can have a synergistic impact at many different levels within an organization.
In early 2012, Mr. West founded Tidewater Capital Services. What started as just a real estate investment business, it quickly became apparent that many small businesses needed capital to grow and often asked for business guidance. By offering funding as an Angel investor and providing business knowledge gained from 40 years of experience, he has been able to help many entrepreneurs carefully grow their businesses into sustainable enterprises. With a lifetime of working with people, businesses, and their finances, Mr. West is uniquely qualified to help plan and lead businesses in both real estate and as an Angel investor.
