Tidewater Capital Services is a private holding company that invests in multiple alternative asset classes, including public equities, select real estate properties, pre-seed and seed round private equity investments, mature venture capital investments, as well as various financial instruments such as royalties, revolving, bridge, secured, and unsecured loans.
We operate from our headquarters in the beautiful city of Charlotte, North Carolina. - Private Equity - We invest from very early stage pre-seed Angel funding opportunities to more mature Venture Capital funding. Tidewater rarely just writes a check. We prefer to act as a consultant to the entrepreneur and can assist them with growth, direction, and strategy. We enjoy working with aligned founders and management teams to help them achieve the goals they have for their companies. We encourage you to review our equity investment criteria page for more information. We have held various roles, such as, CFO, COO, and CMO, for several businesses.
- Real Estate - primarily multi-family apartments, warehouses, and distribution centers. Occasionally we will partner with friends and other investors, if the deal makes sense to bring in others. Due to the current interest rate climate, we have sold all of our holdings and are not actively seeking any new properties.
- Venture Credit and Debt - we are able to utilize revolving lines of credit, product royalty investments, straight venture debt, or property backed loans.
